Amazfit’s latest smartwatches are identically priced. Which of these two smartwatches covers the core features of modern smartwatches? Let us compare both smartwatches in terms of core and valuable features below.
Shape of Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4
The primary difference between the Amazfit GTR 4 and Amazfit GTS 4 is the shape of the watch. Amazfit GTR 4 has a circular watch body while the Amazfir GTS has a box-shaped watch body.
In other words, if you like Garmin Fenix smartwatches or other Garmin smartwatches, Amazfit GTR 4 strives to provide a shape that is similar to the circular shape of the Fenix series.

The look and feel of the GTR 4 seem inspired by the Garmin series smartwatches. I do like the crown button on the top right of the watch, especially with the red color on top of the crown. The image below represents a close up of the Amazfit GTR 4 smartwatch.
And, if you prefer the box-style Apple Watch 8, then the Amazfit GTS 4 is the watch that corresponds to the Apple Watch 8 series. The image below is for the Amazfit GTS 4. You can see that the design inspiration closely matches the body line and design language of the Apple Watch SE 2 and Apple Watch 8. The side button on the Amazfit GTS 4 has been pushed a bit down in comparison to the crown button of the Amazfit GTR 4 smartwatch.

Clearly, the shape of the GTS 4 and the overall thin bezel will remind you of the Apple Watch 8 and Apple Watch SE 2 watches. The appearance of the Amazfit GTS 4 has a striking resemblance to the Apple smartwatch.
